NASCAR at Daytona 2016: Sprint Unlimited practice and race info plus Daytona 500 qualifying schedule

daytona

The 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season kicks off like so many have in the past – with Speedweeks in Daytona!

Before NASCAR has it’s first regular season race there will be plenty of action. On Friday drivers who qualified for the Sprint Unlimited will begin practicing with the race itself to be held on Saturday night. The 75 lap will give fans their first taste of racing this year. Fans will also want to check out the ARCA race on Saturday afternoon as it typically is one of the series’ better events.

On Sunday it is time for qualifying for the Great American Race as everyone on the entry list will attempt to lock themselves into the race ahead of the weekend duel races.
