While Matt Kenseth is suspended the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will run the last two races of the Eliminator Round, the first of which is this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.
On the pole for the AAA 500 is Brad Keselowski. He is joined by Kevin Harvick on the front row at the 1.5-mile track located in Fort Worth, TX. Erik Jones, filling in for Kenseth, starts sixth.
Jimmie Johnson has won the last two races at Texas but it’s worth nothing that Johnson is out of championship contention and thus far only drivers still eligible for the title have went to victory lane since Chicagoland.
NBC will have coverage of the AAA 500 which runs a total of 501 miles. Coverage starts at 2:00 pm ET. The green flag for this race is scheduled for 2:16 pm ET.
