With Regan Smith leaving the No. 7 JR Motorsports ride in the NASCAR Xfinity Series rumors are now circulating that Justin Allgaier may be the driver to take his place.
Allgaier’s future is up in the air as he is losing his seat in the No. 51 car at HScott Motorsprots at the end of the season as the organization makes room for Clint Bowyer. Now Allgaier is emerging as the leading candidate to take over Smith’s ride reports Motorsport.com.
Publicly Allgaier has not mentioned whether or not he will assume Smith’s soon to be empty seat. He has only said he is working on his 2016 plans.
