Jimmie Johnson wins FedEx 400 at Dover, full NASCAR results

Jimmie Johnson won Sunday afternoon’s FedEx 400 from Dover International Speedway.

The driver of the No. 48 Lowes Chevrolet beat out Kevin Harvick to the checkered flag.

Denny Hamlin began the race on the pole and early on showed that he and Martin Truex Jr. had two of the cars to beat but in the later stages the race fell into the hands of Kevin Harvick and Jimmie Johnson. Hamlin’s dominate car would get turned by Clint Bowyer in the closing laps ending his day. In the end it was Johnson going to victory lane following a green-white checkered. The win is his 10th at Dover.
