Richard Petty Motorsports announced on Tuesday that the No. 9 Ford Fusion driven by Sam Hornish Jr. in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will have a new crew chief when it hits the track at Kansas Speedway this weekend.

Kevin “Bono” Manion has been hired to take over as the crew chief for the car driven by Hornish replacing Drew Blickensderfer. RPM has offered Blickensderfer another position within the organization.
