Regan Smith will again be behind the wheel of the No. 41 Hass Automation Chevrolet SS when the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series returns to action at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend.

Smith will be driving in place of suspended driver Kurt Busch but sooner or later the 2004 series champion will be back in action.

Busch has agreed to the terms outlined by NASCAR which dictate his required course of action before being allowed back into the sport. NASCAR spokesman David Higdon said Monday that Busch informed the sanctioning body late last week that he would go through the process.

The details of what Busch will have to do in order to be readmitted to NASCAR was not revealed nor is it required to be by the sport. There is no time table for the return of Busch to the Sprint Cup Series after he was suspended two days before the Daytona 500.
