Jimmie Johnson was unable to win his seventh NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship this past season but the 39-year-old will be back behind the wheel of the No. 48 Lowes Chevrolet SS in 2015.
Despite an 11th place finish in the overall driver standings, Johnson added four wins in 2014 making it 70 for his career. The 11th place points finish was the worst of Johnson’s career since he joined the Cup series full time in 2002. He has won a race in each of the last 13 seasons.
When Johnson gets behind the wheel of his car next season the paint scheme will be different. Johnson will be driving a car which features the colors blue and grey.
