Saturday’s Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond International Raceway is over and with that the field for the Chase has been set.
A total of 1 drivers will compete in the Chase which boasts its largest field every with 16 drivers this season. The format is 16 drivers start the Chase with four being eliminated after every three races. A win in a round for a driver eligible for the Chase will transfer them though to the next round, else-wise points will be used. In the final race of the season at Homestead the the final round drivers will face off in a race which the driver with the most points in that race will win the championship.
