Jeff Gordon to make 750th career Cup start at Atlanta

Four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon will be making his 750th career start this Sunday at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Gordon currently leads the series in points though the first 24 races while his three wins are tied for the most this season.

On Gordon’s No. 24 Chevrolet SS this weekend as a sponsor will be Panasonic Toughbook. This marks their second appearance on the car after debuting on Gordon’s car at Sonoma Raceway in June.


In his career Gordon owns 91 career wins in the Cup Series.

In 40 previous starts at Atlanta the 43-year-old Gordon owns five wins, 16 top fives and 26 top ten finishes. In his last three races at the 1.5-mile track Gordon has finishes of first, second and sixth.
