Following a restart for a competition caution Danica Patrick made contact with Jeff Burton – who was driving teammate Tony Stewart’s No. 14. Patrick spun and was hit by Justin Allgaier. Also making contact with with Patrick and Allgaier was Michael Annett and Trevor Bayne.
JJ Yeley and Matt Kenseth would also spin in the incident. Kenseth suffered a flat left rear tire and suspension damage which resulted in him going to the garage.
