NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver John Wes Townley was sent to a local hospital for evaulation after hitting the wall during qualifying for the ARC Racing Series race at Pocono.
Townley made contact with the wall as he exited the Tunnel Turn at the 2.5-mile track.
His truck series team st out final practice on Friday as it awaited word on Townley’s condition.

Venturini Motorsports announced on twitter that Townley had not been cleared to race in Friday’s ARCA race. Instead BJ McLeod will start and park the No. 15 car.
