Paul Menard won the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Michigan International Speedway on Saturday afternoon. The driver of the No. 33 Menards/Nibco Chevrolet Camaro, Menard led 18 of 125 laps claiming the win in the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet 250.
Menard crossed the start finish line ahead of Sam Hornish Jr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr. to win at the 2-mile oval located in the Irish Hills of Brooklyn, MI. It was the first start of the season in the Nationwide Series for Menard and was his second win of the year.
Kyle Busch began the race on the pole but Kyle Larson spent much of the day out front.
With four laps to go Joey Logano was the race leader but he suffered a flat right rear ceding the lead to Paul Menard.
