Jimmie Johnson won Sunday afternoon’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Dover International Speedway.  The win is the 68th of his career.

The driver of the No. 48 Lowes Chevrolet SS crossed the start finish line ahead of Brad Keselowski  and Matt Kenseth to claim the win in the FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks. Johnson led 272 of 400  laps around the 1-mile oval located in Dover, DE.

The FedEx 400 began with Brad Keselowski on the pole but Kyle Busch would lead the first lap of the race. Shortly after the first round of pit stops it was Jimmie Johnson going to the front of the field while Busch would see his day go away following contact with Clint Bowyer.

Once Johnson took the race lead there was nothing standing in the way of his 68th career win in the Cup Series.
