Iowa native Brett Moffitt will make his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut at Dover.
Jay Robinson Racing has announced that Moffitt will get behind the wheel of the No. 66 Toyota Camry at the 1-mile concrete Dover International Speedway on June 1.
Moffitt, 21, is currently a test driver for Toyota Racing Development and is a nine time winner in the K&N Pro Series East series.
In Moffitt’s lone Nationwide Series race in 2012 he finished ninth at Iowa. He has two Camping World Truck Series starts to his credit.
The No. 66 car is field jointly by JRR and Michael Waltrip Racing. Joe Nemechek has been driving the car during the JRR races. He finished 34th at Charlotte.
