Jeff Gordon will leave Kansas Speedway with the points lead in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and this time it is not in question as he has a win under his belt.
Jeff Gordon entered Kansas with a three point lead over Matt Kenseth following 267 laps at the 1.5-mile Kansas Speedway it is Gordon extending his lead thanks to a late push that saw him put his No. 24 Chevrolet into victory lane.

Winners thus far this season include Kevin Harvick (2), Joey Logano (2), Kurt Busch, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Brad Keselowski, and Dale Earnhardt Jr, these drivers are all but assured a spot in the Sprint Chase.
