After a wild qualifying session the only thing anyone knew for the ARCA season opener is that Dylan Kwansiewski had won the pole. He will start on the pole for Saturday’s ARCA season opener in the Lucas Oil 200 presented by MAVTV.
A series of drivers had their qualifying times thrown out on Friday and unfounded reports of altercations spread on social media. When it was all said and done ARCA finally released a lineup for Saturday’s race.
The Lucas Oil 200 presented by MAVTV will consist of 40 ARCA cars racing 80 laps around the 2.5 mile Daytona International Speedway.
The race will air on Fox Sports 1, coverage begins at 4:00 pm/ET with the green flag waving at 4:30 pm/ET.
Last year it was John Wes Townley who won this event, he will start ninth. The most accomplished ARCA racer at Daytona is Bobby Gerhart with eight wins. After his time was disallowed in qualifying he will start 40th.
