Driver Matteo Malucelli has been released from Halifax Medical Center.
Malucelli was involved in a crash in the Rolex 24 at Daytona. The crash took place three hours into the 24 hour event when Memo Gidley slammed into the back of Malucelli’s nearly stopped car. Maluccelli had just began reporting that his car had lost power.

Gidley underwent surgery on his left arm and left leg and also has a fracture in his back.
