ML Motorsports closes its doors after 15 years

ML Motorsports has officially closed its doors after fifteen years. The news was confirmed by an interview with owner Mary Louise Miller to the Warsaw Times Union.

Miller cited a lack of sponsorship for the teams closing. Driver Johanna Long was released from the team in mid-December.

Justin Diercks competed in the first NASCAR event for the team in 2006 at Richmond International Raceway. Since that time numerous other drivers got behind the wheel of the No. 70 car which was run out of a shop in Warsaw, IN. Most recently the car was driven by Long for the past two seasons.

Most of ML Motorsports equipment has been sold off but no buyer has been announced. The race shop has also been placed for sale.
