Matt Crafton has clinched the 2013 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Championship after a stellar season. The No. 88 team has shown consistency throughout the entire season with only one finish outside the top ten. Matt and his Thorsport team just have to show up at the season finale in Homestead and they’ll be the champions.

Matt’s only celebrated a limited number of wins in his NASCAR career, but his consistency has propelled him to the stage he’s at now. To lock up this title Matt was faced with James Buescher, 2012 NCWTS Champion, and Ty Dillon.

Crafton celebrated the championship with a fifth place finish in Phoenix, meaning he wants to finish out the year by winning both Homestead and the title.

The 37-year-old has taken all of 10-years to finally win this NCWTS title and there’s no sweeter way to do it then plain out beating the opponent.
