Entering Sunday’s race Matt Kenseth held a 8 point lead over Jimmie Johnson while Kyle Busch was 12 points back.

Aided by a 11th place finish Kenseth will leave atop the standings by 3 points over Johnson. A crash by Busch dropped him to fifth in the standings.
