Milka Duno was unable to better her eighth place finish at Salem Speedway this season but a 13th place finish was enough to keep her seventh in the ARCA Racing point standings.

Duno qualified 16th for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA Fall Classic presented by Federated Car Care. Problems with the ignition panel of Duno’s No. 35 car spoiled her day.

“We were on the right path to better our result from our race here in April,” said Duno. “We improved our starting spot over last time and were working very hard to improve our finish as well. Unfortunately, we had some electrical problems that affected us.”

“We had to deal with some electrical “gremlins” that did affect us but Milka was really driving very well. She was passing other cars and turning some really fast laps,” said Kevin Caldwell, Crew Chief, No. 35 Venturini Motorsports Cantv/Milka Way Chevrolet. “If she didn’t have to overcome being behind on laps she may very well have had her third top-10 of the season.”

Duno’s next race will come on Friday night at Kentucky Speedway.
