The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will run on Sunday thanks to the Labor Day holiday. This will allow the truck series a chance to serve as the lead-up to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race later that night.
Except the Truck Series will be at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park located in Bowmanville, Ontario while the Cup stars are at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, GA.
James Buescher won the pole for the inaugural race at the Canadian road course. The truck series race will be 64 laps which consists of 157.37 miles or 250 k.
Matt Crafton enters the race with a 49 point lead in the Truck Series standings but starts the race 13th.
