Brian Vickers will drive the No. 55 Toyota Camry of Michael Waltrip Racing full-time for the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Season.
On Tuesday morning, MWR will announce that Vickers will assume the seat of the No. 55 car for the entire 2014 season.
Aaron’s is expected to remain a primary sponsor of the car as a press release featured both Vickers and the long-time MWR sponsor in a photo.
Vickers has spent the last two seasons sharing time in the No. 55 car with Mark Martin. He has not run a full season at the Sprint Cup level since 2011. This season he has been running the full NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule with Joe Gibbs Racing who also fields Toyota cars.
Earlier this year Vickers won at New Hampshire. In nine races this year Vickers has a win, and three top-ten finishes.
