Allgaier to run Jason Leffler paint scheme for Nationwide race at Indianapolis

Justin Allgaier will drive the No. 31 Chevrolet for Turner Scott Motorsports when the NASCAR Nationwide Series heads to Indianapolis this week. On that car will be a paint scheme commemorating the life of Jason Leffler.


Leffler drove for Turner Motorsportsin the Nationwide Series though the 2011 season. He was killed on June 12 when a suspension part broke in his Sprint car.

When Leffler died he left behind five year old son Charlie Dean.

Leffler competed in 17 races across NASCAR’s top three series in 2012. He had 294 career starts in Nationwide with 2 wins, the last came in 2007.
