DAYTONA BEACH — NASCAR takes center stage this weekend at Daytona International Speedway for the running of the Subway Firecracker 250 and Coke Zero 400.

Below you will find this weekends race schedule, start times, qualifying times, and weather and TV information.

PRACTICE:

CUP: A.J Allmendinger was fastest at Cup practice on Thursday.
NATIONWIDE: Brad Sweet was fastest in first practice on Thursday.

TV/LISTENING INFO:
If you are not able to catch the races on television, MRN will be carrying the audio for the race and you can listen live from their site from your computer or mobile device. The Nationwide race will be broadcast live on ESPN 2, while the Sprint Cup race will air on TNT.

WEATHER:

For qualifying on Friday, temperatures will be in the middle 80’s. For the Subway Firecracker 250 Nationwide series race tonight, there is a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms with temperatures in the low 80’s.

On Saturday evening for the Coke Zero 400 – a 30% chance of showers hover around the area. Temperatures will be in the low 80’s.

LAST TIME:

Daytona is so unpredictable. At the season opening race at Daytona in February, Danica Patrick was on the pole, becoming the first female to ever do so. She finished 8th.

Jimmie Johnson, was the Daytona 500 winner. If we look back to July 2012Tony Stewart won the race after starting in 42 position.
