Matt Kenseth won the Subway Firecracker 250 at Daytona International Speedway on Friday night.
Austin Dillion began the race on the pole but it was Travis Pastrana who would lead the first lap around the 2.5 mile track. Drivers drafted via the pack and bump drafting in a race which featured a lot of green flag racing most of which was done by Sam Hornish Jr.
The third caution came with 11 laps to go when Mike Wallace stopped on the track. Hornish would lead the field to green with seven laps left. Caution would fly as the field came to the line for four to go ending the nights of Jason White, Travis Pastrana and Jeffrey Earnhardt bringing out the red flag and setting up a green white checkered finish.
Matt Kenseth would lead James Buescher around for the final two laps claiming the win.
With his third place finish Elliott Sadler claimed the $100,000 Nationwide Dash 4 Cash.
