BROOKLYN, Mich — Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion for Roush Fenway Racing won Sunday’s Quicken Loans 400 at Michigan International Speedway, marking his first victory of the 2013 season, and Ford Racing’s 1,000 career win in NASCAR’s top three series.
The pole sitter, Carl Edwards finished 8th. Last year’s June Michigan race winner, Dale Earnhardt Jr. led 34 laps before he lost the motor in his No. 88 Hendrick Chevrolet. He finished 37th.
It was Biffle’s second consecutive win at Michigan and 19th career victory in the series. He moved from 10th to 8th in the point standings.
Harvick was second, Martin Truex Jr. was third, followed by Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart in fourth and fifth.
