When Parker Kligerman left the pits in Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race he took a little extra equipment with him. A jack to be exact.
Kligerman completed a lap under caution around Dover International Speedway with the jack underneath his No. 77 Toyota before returning to the pits to have it removed.
Front tire changer Mark Armstrong was struck in the leg by the jack as Kligerman left pit road. He did not change anymore tires after the accident.
Kligerman would finish 11th in the 5-Hour Energy 200 which was won by Joey Logano.
