SUNDAY: 1:00 p.m (approx) Sprint Cup Series race, FedEx400 benefiting Autism Speaks
SPEED will be broadcasting Truck and Sprint Cup qualifying and all practice sessions plus the Camping World Truck race on Friday evening. Nationwide Series qualifying will be on ESPN2 on Saturday with the race following on ESPN. The Sprint Cup race will be broadcast live on FOX on Sunday.
WEATHER: This weekend seems to be shaping up perfect as far as weather is concerned for fans heading to Dover International Speedway. Friday’s forecast calls for lots of sunshine and hot temperatures reaching 89. There is no rain in the forecast. Saturday’s temperatures are much the same with a very small chance of a shower, (only 10%). Sunday will be a bit breezy, but warm with a high of 84. Chance of rain, 10%. It is likely fans will see no rain this weekend at the Monster Mile.
TRACK INFO: Dover International Speedway is a 1 mile concrete oval track. The Truck race and Nationwide race are both 200 miles, 200 laps. The Sprint Cup race is 400 miles, 400 laps.
