Pocono Raceway has completed their extensive road course upgrades, the upgrades include the resurfacing of all infield road courses and the addition of multi-directional curbing. It also includes upgraded participant amenities.
The track is offering 17 layouts that can be run in either clockwise or counter clockwise directions, totaling 34 configurations. The courses range in distances from a technical half-mile layout to a 2.53-mile national circuit.
As a part of the participant upgrades, the track added two new structures that include meeting rooms, classrooms, the Garage Cafe, and modern restrooms that include showers for both competitor and guest convenience.
The track also opened up an additional 100 RV infield spots that are complete with power, water and sewer hookups.
The Pocono IndyCar 400 will be ran at Pocono Raceway on July 7.
