Dale Earnhardt Jr. will provide a car for his nephew, Jeffrey Eanhardt, in the April 26 Nationwide Series race at Richmond International Raceway.
Jeffrey Earnhardt, 23, is the son of Kerry Earnhardt (oldest son of Earnhardt Sr.) He has struggled to find sponsorship and opportunities during his racing career and has competed in MMA.
The No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro will be driven by Jeffrey Earnhardt for the Toyota Care 250. Thus far it is the only annouced race for him in the JR Motorsports machine.nth in the 2011 Daytona Truck race.
Brad Sweet, Jimmie Johnson and Kasey Kahne have also driven JRM’s No. 5 car this year.
