Carl Edwards won the Subway Fresh Fit 500 on Sunday. Edwards led a race high 122 laps snapping a 70 race win less streak. While Edwards went to victory lane another went on the attack.

“The leader’s not supposed to slow down before he takes off & he did that twice.” commented second place finisher Jimmie Johnson.

Johnson believes that Edwards slowed the field down as they approached the green flag on the final restart.

There was no penalty by NASCAR for the restart which suggests that there was no concerns by officials.
