Landon Cassill will make his NASCAR Spring Cup Series season debut on Sunday at Phoenix International Raceway. Cassill will pilot the No. 33 Chevrolet for Circle Sport.

Circle Sport announced that Cassill will be competing in the No. 33 car for the remainder of the season.

“I’m looking forward to the challenge of helping advance Circle Sport to the next level of competition in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series,” Cassill said. “I have been a part of and understand what it takes for an upstart organization to compete in the Cup Series.”

Cassill did not race in the Sprint Cup Series season opener at Daytona. Austin Dillon drove the No. 33 car in that race.

Last season Cassill drove for BK Racing in the No. 83 car but the two sides parted ways recently.
