Brad Keselowski auctions off big beer glass

It is not the glass that Brad Keselowski but it is one like it. The 2012 Sprint Cup Champion is auctioning off a “one-of-a-kind Miller Time Sprint Cup Championship Commemorative Glass” which is signed by Keselowski and Roger Penske.

The proceeds from the auction, which is on eBay, will go to benefit Keselowski’s Checkered Flag Foundation. The foundation supports military members and first responders. The glass is to be the same style as the one which Keselowski celebrated with at Homestead.

The current bid for the glass is $1,625. 12/2 Bid is now at $3,001 with 7 days remaining.

Last season marked the first Sprint Cup title for Keselowski and team owner Roger Penske. Despite winning the title with Dodge powered cars, the organization will switch to Ford in 2013.

While it is great that Keselowski is going to use the money from this auction for military members and first responders I feel a little disappointed that this glass is just a replica.

What do you think?
