Chrissy Wallace to run Nationwide race at Kansas

The NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Kansas Speedway will be the return of Chrissy Wallace to the sport. Krissy will drive the No. 4 Chevrolet for JD Motorsports at the 1.5 mile oval.

Chrissy, the daughter of Mike Wallace, will make her third Nationwide Series debut. She has also run in seven NASCAR Camping World Series races. In her two previous Nationwide Series races she has finishes of 43rd after a first lap crash at Daytona and 24th at Talladega in 2010.

JEGS will be on the car in an associate sponsorship role.

“I can’t thank Johnny Davis enough for this opportunity,” Wallace said. “I’d also like to thank John Coughlin from JEGS for jumping on board to help. When I was running the Truck Series races, everyone said ‘Go show us you can win races.’ So, I went to I-44 Speedway and won races. I also won the track and regional championship.”

Since her last start in NASCAR Krissy has been busy racking up wins among the Late Model fields. She won the 2011 ASA Late Model West Series last season.
