One of the biggest surprises of the NASCAR Nationwide Series has been Joe Nemechek. Despite a lack of funding for much of the season the car has worked it’s way into the top-ten in the driver standings. This weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway the car will welcome back a long time sponsor.
HostGator will sponsor the Toyota Camry driven by Nemechek this Friday night. The site allows users to register domains. The irony of HostGator returning to sponsor Nemechek is that the No. 7 driven by Danica Patrick and sponsored by Go Daddy is one of the cars attempting to crack into the top ten.
The gap between Nemechek and Patrick is one point. The twelth palce driver, Mike Wallace, is a distant thirty-six points behind.
With 27 Nationwide starts on the year, Nemechek has one top-ten and and average finish of 19.0 as he chases his best finish in the series since his fifth place finish in 1993. He was the 1992 series champion.
