Flashback: Boris Said and Greg Biffle Incident at Watkins Glen 2011

Greg Biffle might have to worry about Boris Said at the Finger Lakes 355, as Said is on the entry list for the 2.45 mile, 11 turn road course at Watkins Glen Raceway this weekend.

If you remember back to last years Watkins Glen, Biffle and Said got into a bit of an altercation after the race. Biffle ran out of fuel on lap 28, just before scheduled pit stops. He came to a complete stop on the track and had to be pushed back to the pits. This brought out the races first caution.

You can see the video with Said’s comments below, and comments from Biffle at this years Sonoma.
Said told reporters that he thought Biffle; who was 2 laps down, was racing him dirty later in the race. He told his spotter that he wanted to settle the score at races end.

Boris held true to his words.

Crew members had to restrain both Said and Biffle on pit road at the completion of the race.

Boris didn’t hide his thoughts either, fuming ““He’s the most unprofessional little scaredy cat I’ve ever seen in my life,… He wouldn’t even fight me like a man after. So, if someone texts me his address, I’ll go see him Wednesday at his house and show him what he really needs. He needs a whipping, and I’m going to give it to him. He was flipping me off, giving me the finger. Totally unprofessional, two laps down — I mean he is a chump.”

Boris continued….

I went over there to go talk to him. He wouldn’t even let me get out of the car. He comes over and throws a few little baby punches, and then when I get out, he runs away and hides behind some big guys. But he won’t hide from me long. I’ll find him. I won’t settle it out on the track. It’s not right to wreck cars, but he’ll show up at a race with a black eye one of these days. I’ll see him somewhere.”

Boris finished the race in 22st position, while Biffle finished in 31st position.

Biffle made the following comments following this seasons race at the Sonoma road course.

“I’m just happy I didn’t have a confrontation with Boris Said,” Biffle said. “I surely don’t want to wake with ‘Said Head’ almost as much as I don’t want to wake up with a ‘Said Head.’ His fans are crazy, and not even my type… But I finished seventh, while Boris finished 29th. And Boris, of all people, knows a ‘whuppin” when he sees one.”
