Another new NASCAR team plans to race

Another new team plans to run races in the NASCAR Camping World Truck and Nationwide Series this season. The crew chief of Rusty Wallace’s 1989 Winston Cup Championship announced plans to return to the sport. Barry Dodson has been absent from NASCAR largely since 1994 when both of his children were killed in an automobile accident.

Armed with a new team called Free American Racing, Dodson plans to field a truck for two or three races and Nationwide cars in two or three more. The team is also seeking sponsorship and has not announced when they plan to run their first race or if they have any equipment.
