Stremme, Inception Motorsports plans to run full time

David Stremme said that he was joining Inception Motorsports with the intention of running full time in 2012. Today that appears to be true as the South Bend, In, native will pilot the #30 Chevrolet Impala in 34 events in 2012.

The lone events Stremme will not be participating in are the two road course events of Watkins Glen and Infineon. According to a press release on the teams website sponsorship details will come soon.

The 34 year-old Stremme posted a season’s best 32nd place finish at Bristol. The car was mainly a start and park operation and is not guaranteed a starting spot to start the season since it did not finish the 2011 season inside the top-35 in owner points.

A seven year veteran at the Sprint Cup level, Stremme has made 137 starts with three finishes inside the top-10.

Inception Motorsports plans 2012: per the Inception Motorsports website, the #30 Inception Motorsports team and driver David Stremme, plans to run all the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races but the two road course races [Infineon Raceway and Watkins Glen International]. Sponsorship info to be released at a later date.(Inception Motorsports)(11-30-2011)
