Nelson Piquet is set to drive for Turner Motorsports in 2012. According to the Turner Motorsports press release Piquet will run the full NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) schedule and participate in limited NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) events.
This weekend Piquet will run the Nationwide race in the #30 Chevrolet Impala.This will be the second career start for Piquet in the Nationwide Series, his first was a seventh place finish at Watkins Glen in 2010 while driving for Baker Curb Racing.
Piquet has raced in the truck series for Kevin Harvick Inc this season. He has 9 finishes inside the top-10 with a best finish of second at Nashville.
