Reed Sorenson finds ride at MacDonald Motorsports

Earlier this week Turner Motorsports fired driver Reed Sorenson despite his third place ranking in the Nationwide championship. No details were made other then the team was also losing Dollar General to Joe Gibbs Racing in 2012. Sorenson said he was unclear why he was fired from the team or why Brian Vickers was brought in to replace him.

Sorenson however has landed a ride for this weeks race at Kansas. He will drive the number 82 car of MacDonald Motorsports. The addition of Sorenson to the team was announced shortly before the start of Nationwide practice today.

In addition to Nationwide duty this weekend, Sorenson is listed as the driver of Robby Gordon Motorsports number 7 entry in the Cup race. There he will simply attempt to make the field and then pull it behind the wall says the teams Facebook account.
