Even though the 53rd running of the Daytona 500 is 30 days away the recent preseason testing at Daytona has created as much early interest in the sport as ever.
Front Row Motorsports has announced that Travis Kvapil and David Gilliland will be back for the team in 2011. Kvapil will be racing the #34 Long John Silver’s Ford and David Gilliland in the #38 Taco Bell Ford. The team plans to enter its third car, the #37 Ford, in select races during the 2011 season. Robert Richardson Jr is expected to attempt to make the Daytona 500 in the third car next month.
Roush-Yates Engines will provide new FR9 engines for the team and recently they acquired 34 racecars from Richard Petty Motorsports to expand their fleet.
