Diamondbacks: Matt Reynolds out six weeks with tear in UCL

The Arizona Diamondbacks plan to rest relief pitcher Matt Reynolds for six weeks after he was diagnosed with a slight tear in his ulnar collateral ligament.

Reynolds will get a second opinion but the Rockies are hopeful he will be able to start a throwing program after he rests according to Steve Gilbert.

In 30 games this season Reynolds has compiled a 1.98 ERA and a 1.10 WHIP.
