Grounds crew workers had to dig more then three feet to fix a pipe behind the pitchers mound at Rangers ballpark prior to Tuesdays game.

In order to fix the problem batting practice was cancelled prior to the game between the Texas Rangers and Cleveland Indians.

Repairs were made and the field was returned to its former self.

The Indians entered Tuesday on an eight game losing streak but manager Terry Francona wanted to make sure everyone knew he was not behind the hole.

”I didn’t do it,” Francona said., via Associated Press. ”We’re not there yet. We’re frustrated, but we’re not there.”
