Dolphins quarterback Jay Cutler is expected to return next week.
Cracked ribs are keeping Cutler out of Thursday’s game against the Ravens. Matt Moore will start in his place. The Dolphins added David Fales – another quarterback not named Colin Kaepernick – to the roster earlier this week.
The news came from ESPN’s Adam Schefter and is not completely surprising. A strong showing by Moore could possibly delay the Dolphins decision to bring back Cutler next week but it looks like the Dolphins view Cutler as their best option to win games. Currently the Dolphins are 4-2 on the season.
Despite cracked ribs, Dolphins QB Jay Cutler is expected to be available a week from Sunday vs. Raiders, per source. Out tonight.
