Sam Mayer wins at the Bullring, claims second ARCA West race of season

Last year’s ARCA East Series champion has picked up where he left off claiming wins in the first two races of 2020.

Mayer was driving a car for GMS Racing which honored Spencer Clark, a former racer at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, who died in an automobile accident in 2006.

“I don’t want to pinch myself because I hope I’m not dreaming,” Mayer said after the win in the Star Nursery 150. “This is a heck of a way to start a year for sure. New era, new freakin’ everything. Obviously it’s a new me too. Hopefully we can continue this grind of getting wins left and right and hopefully get into Victory Lane all the time.”
