Hamlin wins Daytona 500, results

Denny Hamlin won the 62nd running of the Daytona 500. In doing so he becomes the first back-to-back winner since Sterling Marlin.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. began the race on the pole Sunday but rain allowed just 20 laps to be completed.

The race resumed on Monday at 4 pm ET.

This was the longest Daytona 500 as it totaled 209 laps.
