NASCAR returned to the track on Saturday with practice ahead of Sunday’s running of the Advance Auto Parts Clash at Daytona International Speedway.
Of course cars back on the track racing usually leads to another headline. Crashes.
The first crash of the 2019 NASCAR season took place during Clash practice. As the No. 9 of Chase Elliott was falling back in the pack the No. 6 of Ryan Newman made contact with his rear end. The result was a crash which also collected Denny Hamlin and Kevin Harvick.
Take another look at the practice crash that has us under the red flag from @DISupdates.
