On Monday, The Motorsports Group announced on their website and Facebook that they would field a car for the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule.
The team will first put the No. 30 Chevrolet SS on the track in the season opening Daytona 500.
No driver or sponsor was announced at the time of the release but the team did say that they were “seeking a driver, crew and sponsorship opportunities.”
TMG fields up to four cars on the Nationwide Series but the team primarily has been of the start and park nature.
