Jamie McMurray won Saturday nights NASCAR Sprint All-Star race from Charlotte Motor Speedway.
The driver of the No. 1 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet beat out Kevin Harvick and Matt Kenseth in the fifth and final segment at the 1.5-mile oval located in Concord, NC.
Carl Edwards began the race on the pole after a three lap qualifying session that involved a pit stop. Kyle Busch won the first segment and brought almost everyone to pit road, save Denny Hamlin who started segment two as the leader. Six laps into segment two Kyle Busch lost control of his car bumping Clint Bowyer who then spun him. Busch was then hit by Joey Logano ending both drivers race.
Kasey Kahne would win the second segment as well as the third. To start the fourth segment Jeff Gordon, Greg Biffle and Martin Truex Jr. all found the wall when Gordon moved up the track after cutting a right front tire or breaking something in the front end. Kevin Harvick won the fourth segment.
When the field was reorganized via average segment finishes it was Harvick, McMurray and Johnson as the top three onto pit road. Leaving pit road it was Edwards, McMurray and then Harvick out. One lap into the segment McMurray took the lead and never looked back.
